People & Culture Manager – Drive Positive Change

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic People & Culture Manager to lead our people agenda at a pivotal stage of growth. Working directly with the Directors, you will combine operational HR duties with strategic culture initiatives to shape a modern, employee‑owned business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the people and culture strategy.
• Coach and support managers, challenging where necessary.
• Lead employee relations and embed HR best practices.
• Design succession planning, talent development programmes and apprenticeships.
• Manage salary benchmarking, reward reviews and payroll processes.
• Oversee implementation and optimisation of a new HR system.
• Maintain a visible presence across the site and build strong employee relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior or standalone HR role.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
• Passion for creating a positive, modern workplace.
• Strong organisational and hands‑on approach.
• Credibility at all levels of the organisation.
