People Governance and Accountability Senior Manager

About the role

Monzo is looking for a senior professional to lead the day‑to‑day delivery of its People Governance and Accountability framework. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable processes that support a high‑performing, inclusive workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Own and coordinate operational delivery of people governance and accountability across the organisation.
• Design, implement and continuously improve frameworks that meet internal and external regulatory standards.
• Partner with People, Legal, Compliance and Risk teams to ensure clear, efficient and well‑controlled processes.
• Monitor framework performance, identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on governance best practices.

Required profile

• Significant experience in HR governance, compliance or risk within a large, fast‑growing organisation.
• Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and embed them into operational processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Track record of delivering high‑impact projects at scale.
