People Operations Regional Lead/Manager – EMEA

About the role

PIMCO is seeking a People Operations Regional Lead/Manager for the EMEA region. This player‑coach role will drive operational excellence, lead transformation initiatives and ensure scalable HR service delivery across the UK and EU while managing a team of HR professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the People Operations subject‑matter expert for the UK and EU, overseeing risk management and operational consistency.
• Execute end‑to‑end employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, role changes, transfers, extensions and exits.
• Maintain high standards of service delivery, timeliness, accuracy, employee experience and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex or sensitive operational matters.
• Own and continuously improve case management processes, intake models, escalation paths, SLAs and quality standards.
• Lead knowledge‑management strategy, ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible and governed.
• Drive transformation projects such as AI, automation, and regulatory programs (e.g., SMCR).
• Partner closely with HR Business Partners, compliance, legal, technology and global POPs teams.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience in HR operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and design as well as execute solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
