People Partner – South Coast

About the role

The People Partner will act as the trusted HR advisor to a Senior Director, driving the people agenda across a large business area. Working closely with senior leaders, you will blend strategic insight with hands‑on execution to align people priorities with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Director and leadership team to design and deliver people plans that support performance and strategic objectives.
• Lead organisational design, operating model changes and change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and employee engagement.
• Drive performance management, talent development and succession planning to build high‑performing teams.
• Provide coaching, challenge and expert HR advice on a wide range of people matters.
• Analyse people data and trends to generate insights, identify risks and support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with People Services, Centres of Excellence and business leaders to deliver a seamless employee experience.
• Support core HR activities, ensuring compliance with policy, process and employment legislation.
• Champion continuous improvement and promote the organisation’s culture, values and behaviours.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner supporting senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of organisational design, change management and performance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence at senior levels.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality HR services in a fast‑moving retail environment.
