Performing Arts Teacher – Music & Drama (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Performing Arts Teacher to deliver Music and Drama across our Junior and Senior School. The successful candidate will join Claires Court in Maidenhead and will be responsible for inspiring pupils from KS1 to KS5, with a focus on developing confidence, creativity and performance skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Music and Drama lessons for KS1‑KS3.
• Support KS4 and KS5 pupils where required, including GCSE and A‑Level content.
• Assess pupil progress and produce regular reports.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Co‑lead the junior school production each year.
• Lead at least two after‑school co‑curricular activities.
• Participate in extra‑curricular events and school functions.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Music and Drama across KS1‑KS3.
• Ability to support GCSE Music and Drama (A‑Level Music Technology desirable).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
