Perils Surveyor – Insurance Loss Adjuster

About the role
We are seeking a Perils Surveyor to manage a portfolio of insurance losses, including fire, flood, water escape, storm damage and impact losses across Hampshire and Berkshire. The role combines diagnostic surveys, claims consultancy and project‑managed perils, as well as pre‑loss building valuations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic surveys on fire, flood, water‑escape and storm‑related losses.
- Provide claims consultancy and project‑manage perils investigations.
- Prepare pre‑loss building valuations for insurance purposes.
- Work primarily from a home base while attending an office within a two‑hour travel radius on a regular basis.
Required profile
- Proven experience handling insurance‑related loss assessments.
- Professional chartership such as MCIOB or MRICS is preferred, though relevant experience without chartership will also be considered.
