Perils Surveyor (Property Claims)

About the role
We are seeking a Perils Surveyor to manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial loss claims across North and West London. Working from a home base, you will take full responsibility for each case from initial assessment through to final settlement.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and assess damage for residential and commercial properties.
- Prepare detailed loss reports and valuation statements.
- Manage each claim from inception to resolution, handling a personal caseload.
- Liaise with insurers and loss‑adjusting practices to ensure smooth claim progression.
- Handle loss values typically ranging from £20,000 to £100,000, with the ability to manage larger exposures.
Required profile
- Proven track record in handling domestic and/or commercial property perils losses.
- MCIOB or MRICS qualification preferred, or candidates working towards these qualifications with relevant insurance claims experience.
