Peripatetic Care Manager (Nurse Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to act as a Peripatetic Care Manager across our Essex care homes. In this regional role you will travel between homes, providing clinical leadership, support and oversight to ensure high‑quality care for older residents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide flexible clinical leadership to multiple care homes in Essex.
• Support Home Managers and care teams with nursing practice, audits and action planning.
• Monitor and record clinical outcomes, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.
• Deliver management cover, on‑call duties and clinical oversight as required.
• Promote continuous improvement of quality standards across the region.

Required profile

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active PIN.
• Significant experience in a nursing or care‑home setting for older people.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Willingness to travel across the Essex region.
