Peripatetic Receptionist

About the role

The Peripatetic Receptionist provides high‑quality front‑of‑house and administrative support across several primary care and health‑care sites in Greater Manchester. You will act as the first point of contact for patients, staff and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors and act as the main point of contact at each site.
• Provide way‑finding assistance, building orientation and information.
• Maintain tidy reception and waiting areas, manage signing‑in procedures and issue keys/fobs.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, parcels and deliveries.
• Log building faults, monitor car parks and arrange room bookings.
• Support patient transport arrangements and handle enquiries or complaints.
• Maintain accurate contact records for tenants, key personnel and emergency contacts.

Required profile

• Ability to travel between multiple sites on short notice, preferably with a car.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Reliability to work the contracted hours required by the business.
