Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant

About the role

Glenholme Senior Living is seeking an experienced Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care across its services. Based primarily at Halmer Court in Spalding, you will travel to other sites as needed, supporting teams and ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver person‑centred care and support daily living activities for residents.
• Administer and record medication safely and accurately.
• Lead shifts, supervise Care Assistants and mentor junior staff.
• Provide senior care support to other Glenholme sites during staff shortages or leave periods.
• Maintain and update care plans and records.
• Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Assist with end‑of‑life care when required.

Required profile

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Strong commitment to person‑centred care and teamwork.
