Peripatetic Voice Teacher (Part‑time, Zero‑hours)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Peripatetic Music Teacher of Voice to develop students' abilities through individualized lessons and support their progress across all year groups at Claremont School.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging individual voice lessons and small‑group music sessions.
• Provide feedback, advice and preparation for performances, examinations and auditions.
• Research and implement innovative instrumental teaching practices.
• Encourage participation in extra‑curricular performing arts opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Head of Creative Faculty, music teachers and school leadership.
• Attend school concerts, events and assemblies as required.

Required profile

• Substantial peripatetic instrumental teaching experience.
• Performance experience (solo or ensemble).
• Strong passion for music teaching and innovation.
• Ability to design individualized lessons and drive student progress.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
