About the role
Reed is seeking qualified Maths Teachers to join permanent posts across Kent starting in September. The positions cover Key Stage 3, GCSE and A‑Level provision, offering the chance to work in some of the region’s strongest grammar schools and maths departments.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess the mathematics curriculum for KS3, GCSE and A‑Level students.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support both high‑ability learners and those needing additional numeracy confidence.
- Contribute to departmental development, CPD programmes and school-wide numeracy initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent eligibility to teach maths in England.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
- Willingness to relocate from Scotland to Kent and integrate into local school communities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and student success.
