About the role
A leading international bank is looking for a customer‑focused Personal Banker to join its East Ham branch. This permanent, fully office‑based role offers the chance to develop a career in retail banking while delivering high‑quality service to both new and existing clients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑class customer service via phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify sales opportunities and cross‑sell a range of banking products.
- Handle account openings, service requests, remittances and cash operations.
- Support business development events and customer outreach initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with AML, KYC and internal procedures.
Required profile
- Excellent sales and networking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to build rapport.
- Experience in retail banking or a similar customer‑facing role (advantageous).
- Confidence working in a busy branch environment.
