Personal Injury Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an associate‑level Personal Injury Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) to join its growing Military Claims team in Leeds. You will work on high‑profile, often politically sensitive litigation on behalf of serving military personnel and veterans, managing a varied caseload of complex personal injury claims arising from military service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of military personal injury claims with a high degree of autonomy.
• Run cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
• Draft legal documents and collate complex evidence.
• Liaise with clients, experts, counsel and other third parties.
• Support colleagues within the wider personal injury team when required.
• Ensure accurate time recording, billing and financial compliance.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer with around 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in personal injury litigation.
• Experience handling high‑value and complex cases in County Court, High Court and Tribunal Services.
• Working understanding of the Service Complaints System.
• Strong commitment to supporting service personnel and veterans.
• Ability to deal sensitively with complex, politically nuanced cases.

Required skills

• Demonstrable interest in military claims and advocacy for armed forces personnel.
• Strong analytical and legal research skills, particularly in evidence‑heavy cases.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
