Personal Medical Assistant – Part‑Time (90‑95 hrs/month)

About the role

This part‑time position supports a single physician in a private practice, handling a high‑profile patient list. The role combines fixed in‑office hours with occasional remote tasks, offering variety and direct involvement in patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily and weekly patient diary, including bookings, reschedules and last‑minute changes.
• Run daily briefings to review recent patients and plan ahead.
• Prepare and send personalised patient protocols, prescriptions and blood‑test requests.
• Digitise handwritten patient notes and maintain electronic files.
• Liaise with an overseas clinic for one week each month.
• Provide light invoicing and general administrative support.
• Handle patient calls professionally and manage the general inbox and diary.

Required profile

• Experience in medical or clinical administration, preferably in the private sector.
• Warm, confident telephone manner as the first point of contact for patients.
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and able to work independently.
• Discreet handling of sensitive patient information.
• Reliability and ability to maintain a fixed early‑start schedule.

Required skills

• Strong IT proficiency for managing digital file systems and scanning.
