Personal Tax Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

This position is based in the North West and focuses on delivering high‑quality personal tax compliance for a diverse client base, including individuals, trusts, partnerships and LLPs. The role also involves providing ad‑hoc tax advice throughout the annual compliance cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and LLPs.
• Provide inheritance tax, capital gains tax and trust planning advice.
• Support the tax team’s strategic growth by supervising trainees and junior staff.
• Deliver occasional ad‑hoc tax advice to owner‑managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in personal tax compliance and advisory services.
• Knowledge of inheritance tax, capital gains tax and trust planning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and committed to professional development.
