Personal Tax Consultant – Newcastle (Four-Day Week)

About the role

We are seeking a Personal Tax Consultant to join a leading professional services firm in Newcastle. The role involves delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of private clients, including high‑net‑worth individuals and owner‑managed businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal tax compliance and advisory services across a varied client base.
• Advise on trusts, estates, inheritance tax planning and succession strategies.
• Support entrepreneurs and owner‑managed businesses with tax planning and capital gains tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and deliver practical, commercial solutions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with colleagues across service lines.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• STEP qualification or equivalent experience in private client tax.
• Extensive experience in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
• Proven expertise in trusts, estates and inheritance tax planning.
• Experience advising owner‑managed businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide practical tax advice.
