Personal Tax Senior (ATT/CTA Qualified) – Hybrid – London

About the role

We are looking for an ATT or CTA qualified Personal Tax Senior to join a respected accountancy practice in Farringdon, London. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, business owners, trusts and estates while developing complex advisory expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services.
• Prepare and review Self‑Assessment Tax Returns.
• Advise on Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Inheritance Tax (IHT) matters.
• Prepare and review Trust and Estate Tax Returns.
• Provide advice on trusts, estate planning, wills and probate.
• Support clients with personal tax planning and wealth preservation strategies.
• Advise directors, shareholders and owner‑managed businesses on personal and corporate tax matters.
• Liaise directly with HMRC and identify proactive tax planning opportunities.
• Support junior team members as required.

Required profile

• ATT or CTA qualification.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in an accountancy practice tax department.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax, CGT, IHT, trusts & estates, wills & probate, tax planning and corporation tax.
• Experience managing a client portfolio.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Desirable experience with high‑net‑worth clients and complex advisory projects.
