Personal Tax Senior – Hybrid, up to £45,000

About the role

We are seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join our Colchester office on a hybrid basis. The role involves client‑facing tax compliance and advisory work for high‑net‑worth individuals, non‑domiciled and non‑resident clients. You will work alongside an experienced manager who provides ongoing training and development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare personal tax returns for a varied client portfolio.
• Support advisory work including Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and broader tax planning.
• Work with high‑net‑worth individuals, non‑domiciled and non‑resident clients.
• Assist with trusts, P11Ds and other compliance matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with senior team members on complex cases.

Required profile

• 2–5 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice, tax‑focused.
• ATT qualified or currently studying (CTA support available).
• Demonstrated experience in personal tax compliance.
• Client‑facing attitude with strong communication skills.
