Personal Tutor – Residential Childcare (CYPF)

About the role

We are a top‑rated training provider seeking an experienced Personal Tutor to support learners pursuing Residential Childcare (CYPF) qualifications. Working remotely, you will observe learners in placements across Cambridge, Northampton and Essex, guiding them through their apprenticeship journey.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and support learners to achieve their Residential Childcare qualifications.
• Deliver engaging teaching sessions using a variety of delivery methods and digital platforms.
• Manage a caseload of learners, monitoring progress, retention and achievement.
• Conduct regular reviews with learners and employers in line with ESFA requirements.
• Prepare learners for the End Point Assessment, ensuring portfolios are complete.
• Identify and remove barriers to learning and promote progression opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet internal and funding standards.
• Safeguard the welfare of children and young people at all times.

Required profile

• Level 3 or 5 qualification in Residential Childcare.
• Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 or equivalent).
• Teaching qualification (AET, CET, PTTLS or equivalent) or willingness to acquire.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade A‑C).

• Salary up to £32,000 per annum plus performance‑based bonuses.
