About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead a community pharmacy team in Hertfordshire. The role combines operational oversight, clinical leadership, and customer‑focused service delivery within a reputable healthcare organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide expert medication advice to customers.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
• Monitor stock levels and order pharmaceutical supplies to meet demand.
• Achieve financial targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Provide clinical leadership and guide continuous professional development of the team.

• Stay up‑to‑date with developments in the healthcare and pharmacy sectors.

Required profile

• Recognised pharmacy qualification and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices.
• Previous experience managing or supervising a pharmacy team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a focus on customer service.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
