Pharmacist Manager – Neath/Port Talbot

About the role

This permanent position is based in Neath/Port Talbot and involves leading a community pharmacy team within a well‑established independent pharmacy group. You will ensure high‑quality, accessible healthcare services while supporting the commercial growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional healthcare advice and support to customers.
• Ensure compliance with GPhC regulations and company policies.
• Manage stock levels, order medical supplies and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee day‑to‑day pharmacy operations to guarantee safe and effective service delivery.
• Handle customer queries and deliver tailored healthcare solutions.
• Support administrative tasks and maintain confidentiality.
• Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team through training, mentoring and performance management.

Required profile

• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience leading and managing a pharmacy team in a community or retail setting.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with patients, colleagues and external healthcare professionals.
• Ability to balance business growth objectives with a focus on patient care and service excellence.
