About the role
The Pharmacist Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of a busy pharmacy department in Stevenage. You will ensure smooth service delivery, support the team in providing high‑quality patient care, and uphold regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the pharmacy, including staffing, scheduling and stock control.
- Provide professional and clinical leadership to ensure safe, accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
- Deliver NHS and private pharmacy services while maintaining compliance with GPhC standards.
- Build strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals and local stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, monitor performance metrics and promote a patient‑focused culture.
Required profile
- Current GPhC registration.
- Experience working in a community pharmacy environment.
- Proven experience managing operations in a healthcare or retail setting.
- Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
- Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication, problem‑solving and a commitment to excellent customer service.
