Pharmacist – Part‑time (28 hrs/week) – Colne

About the role

Join Asda’s pharmacy team in Colne as a part‑time pharmacist. You will work 28 hours per week across a rotating shift pattern, providing both NHS and private pharmacy services to a diverse customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and over‑the‑counter medicines safely and accurately.
• Deliver NHS and private pharmacy services, including urgent care and emergency prescriptions.
• Manage and support pharmacy staff, ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborate with in‑store, regional and head‑office teams for clinical and service queries.
• Participate in regular feedback, business updates and accreditation programmes.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services and private healthcare.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability in a busy pharmacy setting.
• Drive to meet business targets and contribute to community health.
