About the role
North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Specialist Pharmacist Team Leader to head the Camden and Islington pharmacy service. The role focuses on driving Medicines Optimisation across the Trust while leading a multidisciplinary pharmacy team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Camden and Islington pharmacy service.
- Develop and influence service improvements in line with the NHS Long Term Plan.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.
- Champion Medicines Optimisation initiatives throughout the Trust.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in a pharmacy or clinical setting.
- Advanced specialist pharmacist qualification.
- Strong expertise in clinical pharmacology.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
