Pharmacy Account Manager - Clinical Pharmacist (Customer-Facing)

About the role

A leading healthcare organisation is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Clinical Pharmacist for a 6-month contract in East Anglia, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and Surrey. The role supports the national implementation of a vaccination programme and quality improvement work on COPD in primary care, working with Integrated Care Systems and Primary Care Networks.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the National Immunisation Programme across NHS systems, helping drive vaccine uptake.
• Work with stakeholders across Integrated Care Systems and Primary Care Networks to optimise patient identification and recall processes.
• Support a Quality Improvement Programme on COPD, helping healthcare professionals identify, review and optimise patient cohorts.

Required profile

• Pharmacist registration.
• Experience at PCN or ICB level, with a strong preference for extensive PCN experience.
• Strong understanding of how GP practices, PCNs and wider NHS systems operate.
• Experience supporting patient search, recall and action processes, especially in vaccination programmes.
• Customer-facing experience and evidence of delivering against objectives, targets and KPIs.
• Ability to build credibility quickly with clinicians, pharmacists and NHS decision-makers.
