Pharmacy Dispenser – Store Pharmacy Team

About the role

Join a busy retail pharmacy team as a Dispenser, supporting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy services. You will interact directly with patients, helping them manage their medicines and health needs.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions, ensuring correct ordering, labelling, endorsing and collection.
• Work with pharmacy staff to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide medication advice to patients and refer queries to the pharmacist when needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to guarantee legal and safe dispensing.
• Stay updated on new store innovations and operational processes.
• Support patients with repeat prescriptions and promote adherence.
• Utilise evolving pharmacy technologies to improve safety and efficiency.

Required profile

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current, valid UK right to work (no visa sponsorship).
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.
