Pharmacy Manager – Community Healthcare Leader

About the role

Superdrug is seeking a dynamic Pharmacy Manager to lead one of its community pharmacies in Dorchester. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality patient care while driving commercial performance in a fast‑moving retail health environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the pharmacy team to meet and exceed service and sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with GPhC/PSNI standards, stock control, and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, including staffing, scheduling and financial performance.
• Develop and expand pharmacy and clinical services to meet local community needs.
• Utilise clinical expertise to support patients with medication reviews, prescribing (if qualified) and health advice.
• Collaborate with the Regional Healthcare Manager to implement strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience in community pharmacy, with a strong focus on patient care.
• Leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Commercial awareness of NHS pharmacy funding and retail operations.
• Independent Prescriber qualification is welcomed but not mandatory.

Required skills

• GPhC registration.
• Knowledge of pharmacy stock management and regulatory compliance.
