Pharmacy Practice Manager (44 hrs/week)

About the role

The Pharmacy Practice Manager will lead a busy ASDA pharmacy in Stevenage, balancing patient care with commercial performance. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for achieving pharmacy targets while ensuring a safe, high‑quality service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver all pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines.
• Manage and develop the store Pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues.
• Lead, coach and motivate the team to provide excellent patient experience and safety.
• Maintain compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
• Collaborate with in‑store, regional and head‑office teams for clinical and service support.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver NHS and private healthcare services.
• Proven ability to act as both line manager and practising pharmacist.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams.
• Experience handling challenging situations and maintaining solid internal and external relationships.

Required skills

• GPhC regulatory compliance.
• Clinical governance in a retail pharmacy setting.
