Pharmacy Support Worker (Aseptic Unit)

About the role

The Pharmacy Support Worker will assist the aseptic unit in delivering safe, high‑quality pharmacy services. Working within the hospital pharmacy team, you will help prepare, label, assemble and supply aseptic products while adhering to strict SOPs and GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operations of the aseptic unit.
• Prepare, label, assemble and supply aseptic products in line with SOPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform environmental monitoring.
• Manage stock control and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues and other healthcare professionals, escalating issues when required.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and motivated individual.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) awareness.
• Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for aseptic processing.
