About the role

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Pharmacy Support Worker to join the Community Directorate Pharmacy Team within the Annandale & Eskdale Cluster. The role supports the delivery of pharmacy services to patients across Dumfries and Galloway, working closely with GP practices and a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

Respond to medicines‑related queries from patients, GP staff and healthcare professionals.
Support team communication and assist with level 1 medicines reconciliation.
Carry out audits and contribute to care‑home review work.
Maintain regular contact with patients and other stakeholders.
Provide day‑to‑day assistance in the pharmacy hub located in Lockerbie (or Annan).

Organised, reliable and willing to learn.
Effective communication skills.
Enthusiastic, proactive and team‑oriented.
