About the role
Join the dedicated Pharmacy & Medicines team at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and play a key role in delivering high‑quality cancer care. This permanent Band 5 position offers the chance to work across dispensary, aseptic and patient‑facing environments while supporting innovative treatments and clinical trials.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality pharmacy services to cancer patients.
- Rotate through dispensary, aseptic and patient‑facing roles, managing workload and delegating tasks.
- Contribute to service improvement projects and personal development initiatives.
- Lead and develop self and others within the pharmacy team.
Required profile
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with experience in hospital or oncology settings.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and service development.
Required skills
- Aseptic technique.
What we offer
- Permanent Band 5 position (1.0 WTE, 37 hrs/week).
- Salary £33,247 – £41,424 per annum, inclusive of weekend and public‑holiday rota commitments.
