Philanthropy Advisor

About the role

Barclays Private Bank is seeking a Philanthropy Advisor to join its Wealth Management team in London. Working closely with the Senior Philanthropy Advisor and Philanthropy Executive, you will help high‑net‑worth clients and their families develop and execute strategic charitable giving plans.

Key responsibilities

• Support the reputation and growth of the Philanthropy Service.
• Guide and educate UK‑based high‑net‑worth clients on strategic philanthropy through one‑to‑one and family discussions.
• Respond to client enquiries, research requests and actions, ensuring seamless experience and accurate record‑keeping.
• Create client‑facing content, educational materials, research and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Deliver client events, workshops and podcasts in partnership with senior team members.
• Represent the service at internal and external events.
• Develop training resources for private bankers, wealth advisers and other colleagues.
• Build relationships with external organisations and subject‑matter experts.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Internal Communications to produce digital and print materials.
• Manage planned philanthropy projects and maintain awareness of sector trends.

Required profile

• Relevant degree‑level education.
• Experience working within a philanthropy service, charitable foundation or wealth‑management environment.
