Phlebotomist – Oxford

About the role

Randox Health is seeking a qualified Phlebotomist to work in its clinic located inside a Holland & Barrett store in Oxford. You will be the first point of contact for private and corporate clients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience while collecting blood and urine samples for diagnostic testing.

Key responsibilities

• Take accurate blood and urine samples from clients following health and safety protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including personal health measurements and data entry into the Patient Information System (PIS).
• Provide clear explanations and obtain informed consent, maintaining a sensitive and respectful communication style.
• Maintain precise records, upload relevant documentation, and ensure data integrity within the PIS.
• Adhere to shift patterns (alternating weekly Monday‑Friday and Tuesday‑Saturday) and follow any schedule changes.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in the UK for at least 12 months; no visa sponsorship available.
• Vaccinated against Hepatitis B or willing to receive the vaccine after interview.
• Successful completion of an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Ability to work full‑time, permanent hours (8:40 am – 5:20 pm).
