About the role
The successful candidate will develop tools for the maintenance and monitoring of our systems and other business functions within the Market Data Team. This position is aimed at recent graduates or final‑year students with a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain web‑based tools for system monitoring and data management.
- Collaborate with the Market Data Team to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in a related role or equivalent project work.
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or a comparable scientific field.
- Strong research, writing and communication abilities.
Required skills
- PHP (including PHP 8)
- MySQL and handling large datasets (100 GB+)
- Experience with a modern backend language such as Node.js or Python
- Object‑oriented programming, micro‑service and API design
- Familiarity with web frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Django)
- Knowledge of web application security best practices
- Containerisation using Docker
