Physician Associate – Band 7 (6‑month Fixed Term)

About the role

The Central and Northwest London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Physician Associate to join the St Pancras Rehabilitation Unit (SPRU) on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. Working on Rochester West Ward, you will deliver holistic, evidence‑based care to a multi‑pathology patient cohort within a supportive, education‑focused rehabilitation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis and management for patients under the multi‑pathology team, adhering to Trust protocols and evidence‑based practice.
• Utilise bedside tests and investigations to support ongoing patient management in a rehab/intermediate‑care setting.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to ensure safe, timely discharges.
• Contribute to service development and quality‑improvement initiatives by sharing clinical insight and feedback.

Required profile

• Qualified Physician Associate with a commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and follow consultant supervision.
• Motivation to develop advanced clinical skills through structured induction and teaching opportunities.
