Physics Lecturer – Temporary Teaching Role

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Physics Lecturers for temporary assignments with a range of well‑established Further Education providers across Greater Manchester. This flexible, agency‑managed role allows you to deliver high‑quality physics education to learners of varying ages and abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging physics lessons across multiple levels.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Support practical laboratory activities while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes student retention and progression.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or qualification in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching physics in Further Education, secondary schools or adult learning settings.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
