Physics Teacher – Full‑time (Temporary) – London

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Physics Teacher to join a co‑educational secondary academy in the London Borough of Croydon. The school, established in 1958 and holding academy status, offers GCSE, BTEC and vocational programmes and is partnered with a local sixth form. The role starts in September, is full‑time and initially offered on a temporary (fixed‑term) basis, covering Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students.
• Assess student progress, record outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development, review and enrichment of the physics curriculum.

Required profile

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised overseas equivalent.
• Current enhanced DBS clearance.
• Experience teaching physics in UK schools, suitable for an ECT or an experienced teacher.
