Physics Teacher – Secondary School (Full‑time)

About the role

We are partnering with a Good‑rated secondary school in Harlow to recruit a passionate Physics Teacher for the September 2026 intake. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, delivering the science curriculum to students aged 11‑16.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated Physics lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Integrate practical experiments and inquiry‑based activities to develop scientific reasoning.
• Assess student work, monitor progress and provide targeted feedback to improve attainment.
• Contribute to the wider Science department, including curriculum development and STEM enrichment programmes.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and uphold school policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A degree in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
