Picker/Driver

About the role

As a Picker/Driver you will join Tesco's delivery team on a permanent basis, combining van driving with order picking duties. You will help ensure customers receive their groceries on time while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pick items using a handheld terminal and prepare them for dispatch.
• Drive a delivery van to transport goods to customers' homes.
• Check product quality, shelf life, and packaging integrity before delivery.
• Provide courteous, first‑class service to customers during deliveries.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the manager promptly.

Required profile

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Ability to operate a handheld picking terminal.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
