PIP Nurse Assessor - Hybrid

About the role
As a PIP Nurse Assessor you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person’s disability or health condition impacts daily living. Working on complex physical, mental health and chronic pain cases, you will help the Department for Work and Pensions determine benefit eligibility.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telephone, video or face‑to‑face assessments to understand the effect of health conditions on daily life.
- Produce detailed Personal Independence Payment (PIP) reports for the DWP.
- Maintain accurate records and follow assessment guidelines.
- Participate in regular supervision, feedback and mentorship sessions.
Required profile
- Valid NMC registration number.
- Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience in adult or mental health nursing, NHS or other settings.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
