PIP Nurse – Hybrid – £39,500

About the role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person's disability or health condition impacts their daily life. You will work on complex cases that involve both physical and mental health conditions as well as chronic pain disorders, helping customers move forward with tailored support.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the functional impact of disabilities and health conditions on individuals.
• Manage complex cases across physical, mental health and chronic pain domains.
• Produce detailed written reports using computer software.
• Participate in a structured training programme and receive ongoing mentorship.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year of post‑registration adult or mental health nursing experience (NHS or other).
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
