About the role
We are looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join an independent café‑style restaurant in South London. The role involves running a busy pizza service and supporting the wider kitchen team during a 40‑hour week.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare general food items and perform standard kitchen duties.
- Run the pizza section, creating high‑quality hand‑made sourdough pizzas to order.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and food‑safety legislation.
- Carry out end‑of‑shift clean‑down of the kitchen area.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef (essential).
- Enthusiastic, reliable and able to work straight shifts.
- Willingness to assist in other kitchen areas when needed.
- Availability for a temporary full‑time contract from May to September.
Required skills
- Hand‑made sourdough pizza preparation.
- General food preparation.
What we offer
- Salary up to £17 per hour (£15‑£17 range).
- Full‑time hours (40+ hours per week) with straight shifts.
- Trial‑shift interview process.
