Planner – Repairs & Maintenance Scheduling

About the role

The Planner will join the local repairs team at our Tonbridge branch, supporting the planning function for the Pyramid Plus operation. You will be responsible for organising repair schedules, allocating work to operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring a high‑quality, customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and plan repair works to maximise the use of operatives and resources.
• Use the MCM system to manage appointments, update job statuses and monitor progress.
• Track overdue tasks and support the team in meeting performance targets and KPIs.
• Coordinate operatives and subcontractors to ensure jobs are completed on time and fully equipped.
• Communicate with residents to provide updates and manage expectations.
• Allocate work to subcontractors and raise material orders in line with procurement procedures.
• Maintain accurate records across IT systems, PDAs and subcontractor portals.
• Monitor workloads, plan cover for absences and holidays, and provide cover for other planners when required.

Required profile

• Experience in a planning, scheduling or coordination role within repairs, maintenance or a similar environment.
• GCSE (or equivalent) qualification.
• Organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.

• Fixed‑term 6‑month contract.
• Annual salary up to £30,458.75.
