Planning Administrator – Smart Meter Scheduling

About the role

We are seeking an organised Planning Administrator to coordinate smart‑meter installations across Essex and Suffolk. Working full‑time on site, you will ensure installation schedules are efficient, minimise travel time and support high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule smart‑meter installations across the assigned region.
• Allocate work geographically to optimise routes and reduce travel.
• Monitor daily and future schedules, adjusting as needed to meet targets.
• Liaise with operational teams to balance workloads and achieve programme objectives.
• Maintain accurate planning data and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in planning, scheduling or coordination roles.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
• Familiarity with the geography of Essex and Suffolk is advantageous.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
