Planning and Customer Service Coordinator

About the role

The Planning and Customer Service Coordinator will act as the central hub between customers, production, suppliers and logistics for a busy manufacturing business. You will ensure orders are processed accurately, production schedules align with demand, and deliveries are executed on time.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer enquiries, orders and delivery requests.
• Process sales orders in Microsoft Dynamics AX and prepare accurate invoicing.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, collections and shipments, including export documentation when required.
• Schedule production work orders based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
• Attend daily production meetings to communicate priorities and resolve scheduling issues.
• Raise purchase orders, process goods receipts and support stock‑control activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer and supplier records and provide general office administration.

Required profile

• Organised, customer‑focused individual with strong communication skills.
• Experience in customer service, planning, production scheduling or administration.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
