Planning & Development Manager

About the role
Our client, a well‑established developer in Nine Elms, is seeking a Planning & Development Manager to lead the planning delivery of two high‑density schemes in South West London. This is a planning‑first position focused on strategy, consultant management and end‑to‑end project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Devising and executing planning and development strategy for two high‑density residential/mixed‑use schemes.
- Briefing, appointing and managing external consultants, securing Director sign‑off.
- Managing external appointments, budgets and internal reporting.
- Overseeing snagging, after‑care and planning matters through to close‑out.
Required profile
- Approximately 5 years post‑qualification experience in land and planning.
- Professional membership of MRTPI and/or MRICS.
- Proven delivery of complex high‑density residential or mixed‑use projects.
- Borough‑specific experience (e.g., Wandsworth, Lambeth) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy and collaborative approach.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
