Planning Solicitor – Exeter

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Planning Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least four years post‑qualification experience to join our Exeter team. The role involves providing specialist advice on planning and infrastructure matters for high‑value public and private sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft planning and infrastructure agreements, including Section 106 and Section 278 deeds.
• Advise clients on planning applications, strategy and development risk.
• Support national infrastructure projects and development consent orders.
• Collaborate closely with the real‑estate team on major development schemes.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive.
• Minimum of 4 years post‑qualification experience in planning law.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of planning law and related legislation.
• Experience drafting and negotiating Section 106 and Section 278 agreements.
