Plant Maintenance Engineer

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market‑leading manufacturing business as a Plant Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance and breakdown response across plant, utilities, facilities and manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on plant and utilities equipment.
• Repair mechanical components such as belts, bearings and chains.
• Carry out electrical maintenance tasks and ensure safe systems of work.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experienced engineer with a background in plant and utilities equipment.
• High attention to detail and strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Desirable knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
