Plant Manager – Anaerobic Digestion & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead maintenance and operations at our anaerobic digestion facility. The role involves overseeing waste processing, energy generation, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce weekly reports on waste volumes, energy output and any operational issues.
• Manage, appoint and discipline operating staff.
• Coordinate with the Environmental and Compliance Manager to guarantee regulatory adherence.
• Support senior managers with financial and budgetary reporting.
• Work with the Service Coordinator to plan preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and repairs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a plant manager or similar operational role within waste management or renewable energy.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with senior management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Salary £50,000‑£55,000 per year plus OTE up to £65,000.
